Before the session started, Geoff Michel sent a letter to the Star Tribune, co-authored by an Inver Grove Heights DFLer, stating how important bi-partisanship was going to be. Recently, he circulated an article from the Pioneer Press in the district about his joining a bi-partisan legislative group. Then, just yesterday, the Edina Sun Current published a letter wherein the senator says he is in favor of balanced solutions. The text of that letter is in Spotty previous post. How a signatory to the No New Taxes Ever, I Really Mean It, Cross My Heart and Hope to Die pledge could ever claim to be in favor of "balanced" or "bi-partisan" solutions is beyond Spotty. The senator apparenty believes that his constituents are really that dull.
